110 Playgrounds Go Smokefree In Wrexham
Wrexham have taken the bold step of banning smoking in their playgrounds to protect children from the harm of second hand smoke and the perception that smoking is a harmless activity.
The official launch will take place on Thursday 25th July, 1.30pm at Ty Mawr Country Park Fun day with local school children who have helped campaign for smokefree play areas and designed their own signs and flyers. There will several stalls including a smoking cessation stand in conjunction with Stop Smoking Wales.
